About Emerging Markets Forum

The economic outlook for Eastern Europe’s emerging markets, global product portfolio strategies and global go-to-market strategies for pharma and over-the-counter (OTC) products have been the focus at Emerging Markets Forum, held in Berlin on 13th and 14th of March.
The unique two-day event, which is the biggest of its kind with more than 100 delegates, took place at Kempinski hotel in the heart of the city and was a great opportunity for M+W Group to present its broad scope of capabilities to representatives of major pharmaceutical manufacturers from Central and Eastern Europe.

Spotlight presentation of Josef KrieglWith his focus presentation “Innovation in Design and Construction Work”, Josef Kriegl, CEO of M+W Central Europe was part of the top-class expert speaker session. In prime-time, on the first day of conference, his 30 minutes interactive speech showed an overview of M+W Group, our advantages over competition as well as the benefits pharmaceutical manufactures will gain when choosing M+W Group as trustworthy partner. An important aspect that he outlined during his speech was to apply principals of Digital Industry 4.0 as this will become an essential factor to stay competitive in our future markets.

Networking Event
Thanks to our booth presence, the possibility to do networking and to exchange knowledge was also given in-between the speaker sessions. This not only allowed us to intensify already existing business relationships with customers and partners such as Bayer AG, Merck Group, PharmaS and Sanofi but also provided the opportunity to make contact with new international potential customers.
